Reintroducing the Cóbana Negra

In partnership with the Department of Natural Resources and the University of Puerto Rico in Cayey, AES Puerto Rico is supporting the Genaro Cautiño science and mathematics school’s initiative to rescue the Cóbana Negra tree, a tree in danger of extinction in the South area of Puerto Rico. AES Puerto Rico was able to acquire seedlings and helped the Genaro Cautiño school with the planting.
