AES Puerto Rico and the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico sign a strategic alliance in favor of education in the country

San Juan, PR - AES Puerto Rico and the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico signed a collaborative alliance for the welfare of education on the island. The alliance includes the integration for the development of continuing education programs for company professionals, the search for a scholarship program for students, support in matters of social responsibility, engineering, development of research projects, workshops and internships, among others.

The opportunity that students have to have contact with the tasks they will face when they finish their careers is a unique experience and at AES we open the doors to contribute to the future professionals of the country”, said Jesús Bolinaga, president of AES Puerto Rico.

The agreement, with an extensive agenda of projects between both institutions, will give way to the development of joint projects using student intellectual property together with the cutting-edge energy resources of AES PR and make this alliance a winner from the beginning.

These alliances allow them to be in contact with the reality they are going to face when they finish their university degrees,” assured engineer Ernesto Vázquez, president of PUPR.
